The crow's feet are our smile lines. These can be treated with botox. At DeGezichtskliniek we work with the Bocouture® brand from Merz for our botox treatments.

Wrinkles of the forehead, frown and crow's feet are best treated with botox. Botox is a drug that prevents facial muscles from making wrinkles for a period of 3 - 4 months. The treatment is hardly painful and you are presentable shortly after the treatment. You could get botox during your lunch break, and when you come back no one will see that you have been treated. The effect of botox is usually noticeable after a few days and the end effect is visible after 2 weeks.

How Much Botox Do I Need?
The indicated amount of botox per treatment is for an optimal result where the wrinkles will no longer be visible. Sometimes it happens with deep wrinkles that you need a little more botox. This will of course be discussed during the first consultation.
Hoeveel botox heb ik nodig?
Per persoon verschilt het hoeveel botox er nodig is in een bepaald gebied in het gezicht. Bij DeGezichtskliniek hebben we 2 soorten dosering: De standaard dosering voor een natuurlijke look waarbij de rimpeltjes afnemen en je nog een klein beetje beweging kan zien. Tevens is er the Strong/Frozen look waarbij er vaak geen beweging meer is van de behandelde zone. Rimpeltjes die in rust in het gezicht zitten nemen een klein beetje af maar zeker bij diepere rimpeltjes zullen deze met een behandeling niet helemaal verdwijnen.
Is Botox Treatment Painful?
The botox treatment uses small needles, so that the injections are usually not experienced as very painful. If you want to be assured that you are completely pain-free during the treatment, we can always use an anesthetic for a small fee of 5 euros.
When can I expect the result?
On average you will see the result within 1 week. Sometimes this can take a little longer up to 1.5 to 2 weeks. In the unlikely event that no good results are visible after 2 weeks, you can contact us.
How long will the treatment continue to work?
How long the botox treatment continues to work varies from person to person. The average period is 3 to 4 months. With multiple treatments you can expect a prolonged result.
Is there swelling or bruising?
It is not common for swelling or bruising to occur with Botox treatment. Often immediately after treatment there are no visible signs that you have been treated.
