Before the procedure you will have a consultation with your doctor. During this appointment we will:

Review your goals: You'll discuss your aesthetic goals, whether you want to smooth wrinkles, add volume, or accentuate certain facial features like lips or cheeks. They will explain the costs and you can put together your treatment plan.

Medical history: Your doctor will review your medical history to make sure you are a good candidate for treatment. If you have allergies, skin conditions, or other medical issues, now is the time to address them.

Preparation

Cleaning: Your doctor will thoroughly clean the treatment area to remove dirt and makeup.

Anesthesia: To minimize discomfort, a topical numbing cream or topical anesthetic may be applied to the area before the filler is injected. All of our fillers also contain lidocaine.

Injection

The filler is injected with a very fine needle or cannula. Depending on the type of filler, your doctor may inject small amounts of filler into different places in the treatment area. For example, cheek fillers require a few injections over the cheekbone, while lip fillers may require several small injections around the lips.

The end result is visible from 2 weeks. Longevity: The results of fillers can last between 6 months and 2 years, depending on the type of filler used and the treatment area.
