Every appointment begins with a consultation with your doctor to discuss the treatment and whether it is suitable for you. This is a great time to ask any questions you may have. After your consultation the doctor will begin the treatment.
BAP Method - Profhilo injections
The treatment for the face consists of 5 small superficial injections on both sides and is hardly painful. Using the Profhilo BAP injection method for the Face each point receives a 0.2 ml bolus of Profhilo, totaling 1 ml per side. This approach ensures even distribution of the hyaluronic acid, promoting skin hydration and stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Profhilo aftercare and safety
After Profhilo treatment, avoid touching the injection sites, strenuous exercise, alcohol, and extreme temperatures (like saunas or sunbeds) for 24 hours. Refrain from applying makeup for at least 12 hours. Stay hydrated and follow your practitioner’s advice to support optimal results and reduce swelling, bruising, or irritation.
Profhilo results
To achieve optimal results, 2 to 3 treatments are needed with an interval of one month. After this, you can undergo 1 or 2 treatments every year to achieve optimal results.

When can I expect results from Profhilo®?
2 to 3 treatments are required, one month apart, depending on the degree of skin aging. Because the skin itself is put to work by this treatment, you will not see results immediately. You can often see that the skin is better hydrated. From 6-8 weeks after the first treatment, the positive effect becomes increasingly clear, this is because the production of collagen and elastin takes time.
How long does the effect of Profhilo last?
It depends on the condition of the skin how long these improvements remain visible. It is recommended to undergo separate treatment once or twice a year to maintain the results. After all: the aging process continues.
Are there any side effects to be expected?
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin. When this substance is injected, it is extremely well tolerated by the skin.
