Nose Fillers at DeGezichtskliniek

With hyaluronic acid filler, the shape of the nose can be changed with subtle adjustments. Certainly the side view can be adjusted to hide a bulge or to accentuate the nose tip when the nose is turned down (hook nose). The bridge of the nose can also be straightened.

During the treatment you will receive a very strong anesthetic which is mixed into the filler. The filler is injected into your nose with a very thin needle or cannula, so that you feel as little pain as possible. The treatment only takes 5 - 15 minutes. The injections can cause swelling which will subside after a few days and will disappear completely after 2 weeks. After 2 weeks you will see the final result. An elegant straight nose with a more defined nose tip where the result can be seen for 6 - 9 months.

FAQ: Liquid nosejob met filler

1. What is a liquid nose job?

A liquid nose job, also known as non-surgical rhinoplasty, is a cosmetic procedure that uses dermal fillers to alter the shape and contour of the nose. Stylage, a hyaluronic acid-based filler, is injected into specific areas of the nose to smooth out bumps, lift the nasal tip, or enhance the overall appearance without the need for surgery.

2. How does a liquid nose correction work?

During the procedure, a trained professional injects filler into targeted areas of your nose. The filler helps to reshape the nose, correct asymmetry, smooth out humps, or lift the tip of the nose. The process is quick, minimally invasive, and generally requires no downtime.

3. Is the procedure painful?

Most patients experience minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is usually applied before the procedure to reduce any potential discomfort. Some mild pressure or a slight pinching sensation may be felt during the injections, but the procedure is generally well-tolerated.

4. How long does the procedure take?

The entire procedure typically takes between 5 to 8 minutes.

5. What are Stylage fillers, and why are they used for a liquid nose job?

Stylage is a high-quality hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler. It’s specifically designed to provide long-lasting results, with the added benefit of being smooth, biocompatible, and safe for use in facial aesthetics. Stylage's unique formulation allows for precise control during injections, making it an ideal choice for subtle and natural-looking nose enhancements.

6. How long do the results last?

The results of a liquid nose job with Stylage typically last between 6-12 months, depending on individual factors like skin type, metabolism, and the areas treated. Over time, the filler will gradually be absorbed by the body.

7. Will I have any bruising or swelling?

Mild bruising or swelling is possible but usually resolves within a few days. Most patients can return to their normal activities right after the procedure.

8. Can I see the results immediately?

Yes! Results are visible right after the procedure, although there may be some initial swelling that will subside within a few days. Once the swelling goes down, you’ll see the final results.

9. Is there an after-treatment included?

Yes! We offer a free after-treatment follow-up between 2 to 4 weeks after your initial procedure. During this session, we can assess your results and make any necessary touch-ups to ensure you achieve your desired outcome.

10. Are there any risks or side effects?

The liquid nosejob is generally very safe when administered by a trained professional. Common side effects include mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, but these are temporary. Serious side effects are rare but your doctor will explain warning signs to look out for.  Even serious complications can almost always be resolved.

11. Who is a good candidate for a liquid nose job?

A liquid nose job with filler is ideal for individuals looking for subtle improvements in their nose shape or those who are not ready for surgery. It is not suitable for patients with severe structural issues or medical conditions affecting the nose. A consultation with your practitioner will determine whether you're a good candidate for the procedure.

12. Who should not have a liquid nose job?

We do not treat patients who have previously had a surgical rhinoplasty (nose job). This is due to the increased risk of complications when injecting fillers into scar tissue or altered nasal structures. If you’ve had previous nasal surgery, we recommend discussing alternative options with your Doctor.
