Nasolabial folds

The nasolabial fold is one of the most common signs of aging. These lines run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth and can deepen over the years due to loss of volume and elasticity in the skin.  Thankfully filler is a great treatment to make these lines less visible

Nasolabial folds are the natural lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. These folds can deepen over time, making them more noticeable. Loss of collagen, elastin, and fat in the skin, along with repetitive facial movements (such as smiling or talking), contribute to the formation of these wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid fillers are the most popular and effective way to treat nasolabial folds. As we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in our skin decreases, causing the skin to thin and the folds to form deeper. By injecting hyaluronic acid fillers into the nasolabial folds, the volume in the skin is restored. This fills in the folds, making them less deep and less visible. For a natural result, we often treat the piriform fossa instead of the nasolabial folds themselves to give the face structure.

After your consultation, where you will discuss the treatment with your doctor, the doctor will inject the filler with a small needle or cannula. This only takes 5-10 minutes. You may experience some swelling or bruising, which can last up to 2 weeks. You will be completely healed within 2 weeks. The result can last up to 12 months.
