Temples are the affected areas of the face, above the cheekbones and next to the forehead. As we age, volume in the temples can decrease due to loss of fat, collagen and elastin. This can lead to a hollow appearance in the face, making the face appear less youthful and more tired. Hyaluronic acid fillers are a popular and effective way to restore volume in the temples and restore facial volume. What to expect during and after a temple filler treatment:
1. Consultation
The first step is a consultation with your doctor, where you can discuss the areas you want treated and determine if you are a good candidate for the treatment. Your doctor will create a treatment plan and recommend the right volume of filler.
2. Injection of Temple Fillers
The filler is injected directly into the treated areas using a fine needle or cannula. The number of injections varies depending on the size of the area being treated. You may feel a small prick or pressure with each injection, but the discomfort is usually short-lived.
3. Immediate effects
You can resume your normal activities immediately after the treatment, as there is no recovery time. You may experience some redness, swelling or bruising at the injection sites, which is usually temporary. Once healed, the final result will be visible after 1-2 weeks.
4. Post-treatment care
In most cases, you can resume your normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. However, there are a few things you should keep in mind: If possible, avoid alcohol and exercise for 24 hours. Avoid massaging difficult areas, as this can cause the filler to spread to unintended areas. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and excessive heat for the first 24-48 hours.
5 Follow-up
If you notice any irregularities or are not satisfied with the results, you are welcome to come back for a follow-up treatment of 2-4 weeks.

What can you expect after the treatment?
After the filler treatment, you may experience slight swelling, redness or bruising at the injection site. This is normal and usually disappears within a few days. You can resume your daily activities immediately after the treatment, although it is advisable to avoid heavy physical exertion and exposure to heat (such as saunas) for the first 24 hours.
How long will the results last?
The results of temple filler treatment are temporary, but can last between 6 and 12 months, depending on the type of filler and how quickly your body breaks down the hyaluronic acid. Over time, the treatment can be repeated to maintain the effect.
Is the treatment safe?
Yes, filler treatments are generally safe, especially when performed by an experienced physician or specialist. Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible material, meaning it is well tolerated by the body.
