How We Treat Skin Wrinkles
It depends on where the wrinkles are in your face and whether they are static or dynamic wrinkles. During your consultation with your doctor they can discuss the options for treating your wrinkles. There may be multiple options for certain areas or you can combine botox, fillers and skin treatments for a holistic approach.
Our Treatments
Botox
The most common wrinkles we treat with botox are the frown, crows feet and forehead wrinkles. Botox in these areas is highly effective and results last from 3-4 months or longer. By treating these areas regularly you also can prevent wrinkles from becoming worse. Other areas that can be treated with botox include undereyes, lines above the mouth or beside the nose (bunny lines). Botox lasts for 3-5 months.
Fillers
Fillers for reducing wrinkles are often used for the lower face for wrinkles caused by volume loss. As we age we lose elasticity and fat in our skin and face causing drooping and folds to appear. Fillers for the midface can support the lower face lifting the nasolabial folds. Teartrough filler can smooth under the eyes and marionette lines can be filled as well. Lines above the mouth from smoking or movement can also be filled with filler.
Skinboosters / Skin Treatments
Skin treatments such as Profhilo are great at reducing fine lines overall. More advanced treatments such as Profhilo Structura can transform the cheek and side of the face which can be difficult to treat with fillers or botox. Polynucleotides (Salmon Sperm) are used for regenerating the delicate under eye skin or the whole face. Skinboosters can also be used in combination with botox and fillers.

Types of wrinkles
Did you know that there are different types of wrinkles and that this determines how they can be treated? During your pre-treatment consultation, your doctor will explain your wrinkles and the treatment options available.
Dynamic wrinkles
Dynamic wrinkles develop when we move our face. For example, when we raise our eyebrows, we see wrinkles on our forehead. When we smile, we see lines next to our eyes (crow's feet). When we wrinkle our nose, we see small lines on our nose (bunny lines). These types of wrinkles can be treated very effectively with Botox.
Static wrinkles
Static wrinkles are wrinkles that are visible without movement. If you have a strong frown line, you may see frown lines between your eyes even after you've stopped growing. You may also have fine lines under your eyes or nasolabial folds caused by volume loss in the midface. Some of these wrinkles can be improved with Botox and skin treatments, but they won't disappear completely. Fillers are usually the best solution for static wrinkles.
Fine/superficial wrinkles
Many people also experience fine lines on the sides of their face and on the skin's surface. These can appear on the eyelids, cheeks, or neck. Some of these lines appear in difficult-to-treat areas. Your doctor can advise you on your options or whether an alternative solution, such as surgery, might be better.

FAQ about Wrinkle Treatments
Are wrinkle treatment painfuk?
Group Botox and filler treatments are generally well-tolerated because they require a very fine needle or cannula. Additional anaesthesia is always possible; just ask!
Is there recovery time required after treatment?
Depending on the treatment, it can take up to two weeks for you to fully recover. However, with many treatments, such as Botox, you'll experience little to no swelling or bruising.
How fast will I see the results?
With Botox, results are visible after two weeks. With fillers, results are immediate, but it takes two weeks for the final result to become visible once the swelling has subsided. Skin treatments take longer, sometimes as long as four to six weeks.

Yes, all our treatments are suitable for all skin types and skin colours.
